Mood: energetic but it was hard to finish!

February 6 Reading – Exodus 23:14-25:40; Matthew 24:29-51; Psalm 30:1-12; Proverbs 7:24-27

Exodus Observation
- Isarael must celebrate 3 festivals in God’s honor
- 1. Festival of Unleavened Bread ..for 7 days (bread w/o yeast)
- 2. Festival of Harvest..bring God the first crops of the harvest
- 3. Festival of the Final Harvest ..at the end of the harvest season
At these times, three times each year, every man in Isarel must appear before the Soverign Lord
Note: Sacrificial blood must never be offered together with bread that has yeast in it.
And no sacrificial fat may be left unoffered until the next morning.


Israel shared a meal in God’s presence! (Exodus 24:11)
He used the word ‘obey’ a lot..hmm..pay attention when you see words repeat itself!

Moses disappeared into the clouds on Mount Sinai. He was there with God.
He stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights

The Ark of the Covenant is described in detail in Exodus 25

Matthew Observation 24 Chapter
- It describes the events that will take place before the ‘Son of Man’ returns
- No one knows the hour or day, including Jesus, but God the Father knows

A question that comes to mind:
We know that there is only one God. God has 3 functions, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We know that Jesus is God in the flesh.
So when you read that Jesus sits on the right hand of God in heaven. Are we saying that God sits on the right side of himself?
Just something to make you go hmmm

Psalm Observation

I will praise you, Lord, for you have rescued me.
The Psalmist is thankful for what God has done for him.

Proverbs Observation

The father is warning his son about the lure of an immoral woman.
She will ruin your life!
