Now that Obama is in Office for 4 more Years - Its Time to Save Your Money!

These thoughts are by sister who makes some very good points and I share in her sentiments.
We do not claim to be political heads but some of these things are just common sense.  Feel free to comment on the post!

  Well, since there’s a democrat in office now and has been for 2 terms now, my thoughts are as follows:

1.  It is very possible that the next President will be a republican;

If Mitt Romney won the election in 2012 these are the things we would have to look forward to:

A.  A lot of things for the poor was going to be cut out.
Note: He’s never been poor and he actually said that he’s not concerned about 47% of the Americans because they are poor.  Therefore anything provided by the government would be cut out.
B.  Social Security;
C.  Government health care for seniors -  those who could not afford it,
D.  Unemployment checks would be cut out (if you lose your job and there are no jobs you will be in trouble);
E.  Food stamps;
F.  Additional health care (if your child get’s sick and you have to stop working to take care of them – you would not have assistance from the government);
G.  Help with medications needed for seniors that can’t work anymore (we would have to buy it if our parents can’t afford the medication),
H.  Grants would be out,  etc.

Anything that the government provides assistance for would be cut out.     It would be very difficult to survive.

2.  If there is a Democrat in office for the next term, but the Republicans dominate the House and Senate and if they work against the president for the above programs, then we still need to be cautious and SAVE.

So my advice is save as much as you can so that you can be able to have money to pay for these items.   Also, start putting cash in a safe at home, a little at a time.  If the computer systems go down for a short period of time(a week) how will you make it??

Note:
If you put in a safe, just $10 a week, you will have $2080 over the next 4 years cash.   Not very difficult at all.  Not to be missed.
